Get a Mineral Detector, which is crafted with a Battery, Titanium, Copper Wire, and Silicone Rubber.Įach Galena Outcrop has a chance to drop either Titanium or Lead, so you might need to crack a few open.Ĭompared to the other biomes in Subnautica: Below Zero where you can find Lead ( like the Crystal Caves or Lilypad Islands), the Twisty Bridges is the closest, safest, and most efficient area to get Lead in the game. The Outcrops can be hiding down those channels. Make sure to check all the cliffs and areas that cut into the cliffs. It gets very dark at night in the Twisty Bridges and you won't be able to see any rocks.

RELATED: Subnautica: Below Zero - How To Kill Leviathans If you don't have the Rebreather yet, a handful of raw Bladderfish can grant you a few chunks of Oxygen to help you harvest Lead. Galena Outcrops are found at around 100 meters +, so the Rebreather does come in handy. You should be relatively safe here, with no nearby Brute Sharks or Leviathans to cause you any problems. Once in the Twisty Bridges biome, you want to dive into some of the caverns, channels, and chasms that make up the biome. Just set the Detector to search for Galena and it will keep you in the right direction. Because they're basically lumps of grey rock, it can be handy to have the Detector tell you where they are.

You should first start to see the biome between 300 meters and 400 meters from the Drop Pod. The biome transitions into a Shallow version as you get closer to Delta Island. You can't miss it: the biome is made up of loads of twisty bridges (that look like tentacles) with blue lights underneath. These two biomes are located to the south of your Drop Pod spot. These are close to your Drop Pod location and a good area to set up a base in the early game. Out of these biomes, by far the easiest (and safest) area to look for Galena Outcrops is the Twisty Bridges and Shallow Twisty Bridges. Twisty Bridges and Shallow Twisty Bridges Lead is found in Galena Outcrops, which spawn in these biomes: There are loads of different biomes that will have Lead somewhere.
